CAITLYN HOOD
Caitlyn Lindsey-Hood has vast experience in the courtroom, successfully representing countless clients at motions hearings, oral arguments, bench trials, and extensive jury trials. After graduating from law school in 2014, Caitlyn worked as a law clerk for a private domestic law firm and as a Special Assistant District Attorney for the Dekalb County DA's Office. Upon gaining admission to the Georgia Bar, Caitlyn worked as an associate for Bovis, Kyle, Burch & Medlin, where she handled insurance defense cases and domestic matters, including high-asset divorce and complex custody cases.
Caitlyn has advanced skills in litigating complex cases, start to finish. From handling pre-suit negotiations, taking depositions, investigating facts, and managing discovery to delivering her final words in a closing argument, Caitlyn has proven to be a zealous and dedicated advocate. Caitlyn has a unique passion for helping her clients navigate difficult life events and secure a better, stable future for themselves, and for their families. Her wealth of experience with insurance law, civil procedure, evidence, and domestic relations law combined with her many years of education in various fields makes Caitlyn a critical asset for anyone facing legal hardship or needing sound legal advice.
Caitlyn has years of experience navigating intricate and extensive financial issues, having handled numerous cases requiring business valuation, income analysis, and the pursuit of hidden assets. In 2017, Caitlyn attended training presented by Rogers Economics on investigating and litigating financial issues in domestic cases. In 2019, Caitlyn attended the associates' seminar presented by the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers in Chicago, Illinois. She also received additional continuing education as an attendee of the Georgia Bar's Family Law Institute in 2016, 2017, and 2018.
In 2012, Caitlyn received her Bachelor's Degree from the University of Georgia, where she majored in Political Science and Interpersonal Speech Communications. Then, in 2014, Caitlyn received her Juris Doctorate from the University of Mississippi School of Law, where her trial experience started. While there, she was vice-chair of the Trial Advocacy Board and competed nationally in ABA Mock Trial Competitions.
Caitlyn now acts as the vice president of the Forsyth County Bar Association and is a member of the State Bar's Young Lawyer’s Division. She also participates in Georgia’s High School Mock Trial program, previously as an assistant coach and now as a judge at regional competitions.
